Quince Jam is an originality of Portuguese regional sweets. In the XV century, it was already included in the Cookbook of the Infanta D. Maria de Portugal and circulated in the route of India and Brazil during the period of the Discoveries. It was the first dessert consumed in Brazil, after the celebration of the first Catholic mass in the territory. It should be drink fresh. Cheers!
