Crafted from a rare fruit, the camarinha, with its sweet, subtly acidic taste and honeyed aroma, found only in the sandy dunes of Portugal’s Atlantic coast and almost nowhere else in the world, this liqueur is produced in very limited quantities.

Legend has it that these small, pearl-like white berries are the tears of Queen Saint Isabel, heartbroken over the infidelities of King Dinis, a good ruler but a poor husband. Camarinha Liqueur, served chilled, is the best remedy for broken hearts. Best enjoyed cold!
