Mui Gin

MUI Gin carries with it a family history, eternalised in recipe books kept from past generations, where Hélio Loureiro took a recipe from a Geneva dating back to 1873. He added the flavours of his favourite herbs and spices to this recipe, transforming it into a gin for today.

It was born as a tribute to Portugal and the audacity of the Portuguese in the year commemorating the 600th anniversary of the start of their maritime expansion.

It combines the aromas of the clove and cinnamon routes with those of the herbs of the Lusitanian plains and mountains. It has been distilled seven times by hand and is highly aromatic. It has a background of muscat grapes, toasted almonds from the Douro and tangerine that harmonises with ginger.
